I have a tip from my neighbourhood
A short proposal. The practice starts seeking inscription on the Living Heritage List and gathering public support. It takes a few minutes. You do not have to be an expert; it is enough that you know about it.

The full proposal form for inscription on the regional Living Heritage List. Anyone can submit it: an association, an institution or an individual. You do not have to be an expert: the form guides you step by step with advice at every field. The proposal is assessed by the museum's expert commission.

The Regional Centre: your point of contact
Your point of contact is the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové, the Regional Centre for intangible cultural heritage of the Hradec Králové Region since 2004. Turn to it with proposals and questions; in the public interest it maps living cultural practices so that they can be supported and, where needed, protected.
On behalf of the Regional Council it keeps the Living Heritage List of the Hradec Králové Region, where citizens and communities can sign up their living heritage. Practices matching the UNESCO Convention definition are regarded as intangible cultural heritage of the region and may aspire to the national List of the Czech Republic and perhaps, one day, to the UNESCO world list.
